The Many Faces of Mordanga

I had some time before dinner, so I headed towards Mordanga's lakes. I thought I might be off course, so I didn't stray far - the forest and lakes look the same in all directions!

You might think I wandered far and wide for this assortment of pictures, but they're all a stone's throw from each other. First, the end of the lake feeding the stream that passes through the mill. Then, trees surround me, menacing, on all sides! Making my way back, I spotted the mill reflecting off the water, crystal clear. The autumn colors were still in their full powers, basking in the rays of the afternoon sun, but soon the air turned cold and the sky grew overcast. The frigid wind whipped through the frail birch tree's branches. Winter was definitely on its way.
