No. 6 Alberta iela is another of Mikhail Eisenstein's
(portrait at right) designs. One of its most prominent features is the
three heads over the main gate arch, symbolic of a person's path through
life.
Eclectic decorative elements abound. The design is also notable for its
symmetrical design. It combines both brick and parget in the facade—brick
being a popular structural element of the time, employed in both Jugendstil and
Gothic-inspired designs.
