...which was Grizinkalns park. A large and elaborate monument to the revolution of 1905 sits near the park entrance off the corner of Pernavas iela and Asara iela. I head through and across the park, along the tracks (walled off) behind the park, and finally out again to Pernavas iela along Ata iela.

Night has fallen—the sky isn't really as light as it seems in some of the pictures, it's only the camera trying to expose for daytime. I make my way back to the apartment through the streets, alleyways and courtyards in as straight a line as possible.
